With the recent legalization of marijuana in Minnesota, residents have the opportunity to use and even cultivate their own marijuana plants legally. As of August 1, 2023, Minnesotans 21+ will be allowed to grow up to eight cannabis plants at a single residence with only four mature plants at a time. Additionally, it will be legal in Minnesota to possess or transport up to 2 ounces of cannabis flower, 8 grams of concentrate, and 800 milligrams of marijuana edibles (including low-potency hemp-derived products). Adults will also be allowed to possess up to 2 pounds of cannabis flower in a private residence as well. Exciting, right?!
