Decades in the Making
For 54 years, The Great Midwest Hemp Fest has called Madison home. Activists proudly march down State Street to tell those in power that we deserve safe, affordable, legal access to cannabis.

This year, the celebration will be in a bigger, better location. The festival grounds have moved to James Madison Park in Madison, Wisconsin.
What to Expect
Attendees can expect a grassy, open-concept area filled with educational sessions, interactive exhibits, live music performances, and a marketplace of hemp-related products.

Yeah, but why?
Great question. The Great Midwest Hemp Fest is organized by GMMHF, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization with a mission to educate voters and advocate for change in Wisconsin’s legislation surrounding cannabis laws. They deliver educational resources and awareness about the positive effects of cannabis legalization in Wisconsin.
