In the Midwest, the term “a good egg” is used to describe someone who is loyal, kind, and dependable. These individuals have gone above and beyond in their roles, made a positive impact on their teams, and truly represent the values of Turning Leaf.
We are pleased to announce the Summer 2024 Golden Leaf Award recipients:

Rose
(they/them) Team Member – Madison, WI | 1 year
Favorite time of the year? My favorite season is autumn because I love wearing flannel and drinking apple cider around a campfire with some friends.
Favorite Products? Verdant Leaf Vitality tincture helps me deal with low mood or low energy whenever I need a pick-me-up. I like that the bottle is small enough for me to carry around with me in my bag.
The Puffco Peak Pro is hands-down my favorite concentrate device! The Bluetooth connection really allows for a personalized temperature and light experience and it puffs like a charm!
If you could swap lives with anyone for a day, who would it be and why? Jack Black – it seems like he lives a really interesting life creating passion projects and just being himself.
What is your favorite thing about your team or the company? My teammates are such caring and fun people and my managers care about me having a healthy work-life balance.
Favorite Midwest Saying/ Phrase? “Believe you me…” Used to emphasize that the sentence is true. Example: “He didn’t like that one bit, believe you me.”

Favorite time of the year? Summertime by far!

If you could swap lives with anyone for a day, who would it be? I would swap with my five-year-old Daughter. To be able to see the world through joy and innocence like young people still can do!
What is your favorite thing about your team or the company? The team really gives a care and it’s noticeable. And I have worked with some of the most well-versed people when it comes to cannabis ever!
Favorite Midwest Saying/ Phrase? Uffda. It has it has infinite meanings, depending on how you phrase it.
Maysion
(he/him) Team Member – Bismarck, ND | 2 years
Favorite time of the year? Winter is the best time of year. Nothing like some snow mixed with hockey.
Favorite Products? The Holistapet Mobility Chews really came in clutch after my Corgi tore his CCL in his leg, now we can’t stop him from running all over the place.
The Foundry Recovery Stick is something I have come to use everyday for the aches and pains.
The Royal Mushroom Energy gummies are another one of my must haves, they help get me ready for each day with a little boost.
If you could swap lives with anyone for a day, who would it be? Shaquille O’Neal – I wanna know what it’s like to be 7 feet tall.
What is your favorite thing about your team or the company? I’d say my favorite thing about the company is even though we are separated amongst three different states, we are still connected. If you ever have a question you can reach out to anyone and you will get a response.
