As we reflect on the year past, we want to give a special shoutout to our Golden Leaves, the team members who have truly gone above and beyond. These folks have shown the f*@! up with their loyalty, dedication, and commitment to the team.
Whether tackling tough tasks, or being a positive presence–they’re what makes the TL store experience shine. We’re forever grateful for their hard work and excited to keep growing with such amazing people by our side.
Without further ado, here are the Winter 2025 Golden Leaf Award recipients:

Dominga
(She/Her) Team Member- Bismarck, ND | 1 year
Favorite time of the year? Fall
Favorite Products in the Bismarck shop? BLNCD Relief Salve | I have tried so many different things for my back pain & that seems to be the only product to relieve it.
Holista Pet Calm CBD Chews | My Chiweenie is super hyper & she also has anxiety like her mom so I give her those treats & it helps soothes her.
Shroom Shots | Specifically the energy, I love how it’s full of adaptogens that are not only a healthier option but it’s also beneficial & it definitely does help boost my energy for the day especially when I need it!
If you could swap lives with anyone for a day, who would it be and why? If I could swap lives with anyone it would definitely be either one of my cats, all they do is sleep all day which is always needed since they like to keep us humans awake during the night when they get the zoomies.
What is your favorite thing about your team or the company? I love how every one of us is like a family. I haven’t really had that growing up so being a part of the team or should I say family makes me feel really happy on the inside. I definitely wouldn’t have made it as far as I have mentally if it wasn’t for my amazing manager, Alexis. I am so grateful for everything that this company has done for me & I can’t wait to see what’s in store this coming year for all of us!

(He/Him) Team Member- Waukesha, WI | 1.5 years
Favorite time of the year? Fall/Halloween
Favorite Products in the Waukesha shop?
Perfect Plant Flower | One word, “Quality”. This THC-A Flower has raised the bar for my own personal Hemp standards. The effects speak for themselves as the listed cannabinoid percentages always reflect accurately with the lab results, transparency IS key.
Leilo Kava Tonic | A delicious and mildly euphoric alternative to alcohol with a shorter period of effect of about 3-4 hours. Customers and myself have reported an increase in sociability and overall mood without those dreaded alcohol negatives such as dehydration, fatigue, headache, or upset stomach. As someone who struggles personally with the side effects with alcohol this trait was nothing short of a blessing!
If you could swap lives with anyone for a day, who would it be? Johnny Franck, a Metalcore/Post-Hardcore vocalist from the bands Bilmuri and formally AttackAttack. He has such an incredible vocal range that would make anyone jealous!
What is your favorite thing about your team or the company? The Waukesha Team and Turning Leaf as a whole has allowed me to be myself and even grow and improve on who I define as “Me”. The love and understanding I feel from my fellow staff is unmatched and I couldn’t have asked for a better team of incredible people! Since I’ve joined the crew over a year ago, I feel like I’m actually making an impact and improving people’s quality of life. You couldn’t possibly ask for a better feeling.
Favorite Midwest Saying/ Phrase? “Welp” *Slaps Knees*

Favorite time of the year? Spring 🌼🌱 because I love watching everything come back to life from the cold winter weather and knowing it’s going to be summer 🏝️ soon 💓

If you could swap lives with anyone for a day, who would it be? I don’t have a person I’d like to change lives with. I honestly would trade places with a bald eagle. Then I would get to fly anywhere and feel free for a day.
What is your favorite thing about your team or the company? How everyone is very supportive and helpful when you have questions. And we get to work in a very fun environment with cool peeps 😎 And as everyone knows about me “No Bullshit” favorite company value💓
Favorite Midwest Saying/ Phrase? “Not sure if it’s a Midwest saying but my family motto is “f#ck it”
