We are thrilled to announce the Winter 2023 Golden Leaf Award recipients:

Alexis
(she/her) Store Manager – Bismarck, ND | 7 years
Favorite time of the year? Winter! I love the cozy vibe and also snowboarding! Summer of course is next best but never lasts long enough!
Favorite Product? I have a lot of favorites, but my all-time favorite is BLNCD Relief Salve, that product has been a lifesaver many times and everyone can benefit from using it!
If you could swap lives with anyone for a day, who would it be and why? Probably Nicki Minaj. I’ve always admired her and it would be cool to live her life for a day!
Last Show you couldn’t stop watching? The Old Guard on Netflix. It’s a movie, but a super awesome movie I could watch over and over again!
If you could take 3 items onto a deserted island, what would they be? Music (solar powered), a puppy & nicotine for stress relief.
Favorite Customer Interaction? Probably when a customer bought a bottle of e-liquid, cracked it open, and drank a huge chug of it, saying that is just what he does!

Favorite time of the year? Spring!
Favorite Product? BLNCD Fast Acting Gummies! These work perfectly in any situation whether I want to just chill and cook something at home or go out with my friends. I always have a tin on me!
If you could swap lives with anyone for a day, who would it be and why? Lana Del Rey because she’s an icon and I literally need to know how it would feel to be that talented, gorgeous, and slay.
Last Show you couldn’t stop watching? Real Housewives of Salt Lake City
If you could take 3 items onto a deserted island, what would they be? I would take BLNCD Fast Acting Gummies, My Blazy Susan Pink Papers, and Mesa Tortellini Pizza!
Favorite Customer Interaction? Working in Uptown there are lots of zesty interactions but one of my favorite moments is when one of our regular customers brought in her Frenchie for the first time and we all MELTED! Brady is def the unofficial store mascot of Uptown for real!

(she/her) Store Manager – Waukesha, WI | 3 years
Favorite time of the year? Spring or summer is my favorite time of year because I love sun soaking and the vibes of the summertime, everyone is so relaxed.
Favorite Product? BLNCD “Vital” Skincare Line. Their vital nutrient face oil has been my saving grace for my acne and uneven skin tone and keeps me superrrr moisturized during the colder months.
If you could swap lives with anyone for a day, who would it be and why? Snoop Dogg, that man has a dedicated joint roller on his payroll, and that’s how I’m trying to be.
Last Show you couldn’t stop watching? I am an avid cartoon watcher, that’s how I start my morning and end the night, and the last show I couldn’t stop watching was Squidbillies, it is soooo funny.
If you could take 3 items onto a deserted island, what would they be? My vape, some gummies, and some soap because I cannot stand the feeling of sweat, lol.
Favorite Customer Interaction? My favorite interaction I’ve had here was when I was walking a customer through the Pax 3 Vaporizer and we probably talked for about an hour, ran him through all the features. He had asked at some point if I had one, and I told him no, it’s a little out of my budget and he ended up purchasing me one that day and giving it to me which was absolutely insane.

(she/her) Store Manager – Madison East & West, WI | 2 years + 8 months
Favorite time of the year? Autumn – Scorpio Season
Favorite Product? I love the Hometown Hero Mandarin Peak Delta 9 100mg gummy. It’s the perfect edible to be broken up and taken for a day out or relaxing in. It’s extremely helpful for navigating pain and inflammation without being couch-locked!
If you could swap lives with anyone for a day, who would it be and why? Taylor Swift – she is one of the hardest working businesswomen of our generation and is consistently making a difference in individuals’ lives every single day through her music and her philanthropic efforts
Last Show you couldn’t stop watching? The Fall of the House of Usher
If you could take 3 items onto a deserted island, what would they be? Inhaler (with endless puffs) the entire Taylor Swift discovery on a never-dying device, the never-ending gobstopper version of the Foundry GG #4 disposable (which also never ends).
Favorite Customer Interaction? It was May 2021 (a couple of months after I had started), a man came into the store in a mask and hat and asked for something to help his wife with eczema. I talked and raved about BLNCD for 5-10min and had gotten him a few products to try out. On the way to the register, I threw in that Target sells a great in-the-shower product for even more help while using the other products from BLNCD he was getting. He then grand revealed that he was Beecher Vaillancourt III, and then proceeded to mock me for trying to send him to Target, while I said that I was committed to helping the customers as MUCH as I could while giving him all of the CBD I could offer! It’s one of my favorite memories from the beginning of my career here (:
